The nomination period for mayor, councillor and school trustee candidate has now ended. At 4:00 PM today Kendra Kinsley, Chief Election Officer for the District of Summerland, declared the following candidates for the 2026 General Local Election in Summerland:

Candidates have until 4:00 PM on September 18, 2026 to withdraw their names from the ballot if desired. The official declaration of election by voting or acclamation will be made on September 21, at 4:00 PM.
