August 28, 2026 Update - Landfill Recycling Depot will be opening Monday August 31, 2026 from 10 am to 4:15 pm. Starting Tuesday, the Recycling Area will be open regular hours Monday to Saturday, 8:30 am to 4:15 pm. The landfill will be closed Sundays and Monday, September 7, for Labour Day.
Accepted materials will only include:
Residential recycling including residential cardboard, flexible plastic packaging, glass jars and bottles and foam packaging
Small Electronic items (no large appliances!)
Light Bulbs
Batteries
Smoke and Carbon Dioxide Alarms
All other materials will not be accepted at this time. The Landfill will remain off limits to the public except for the Recycling area. Other landfill areas will open as they become safe.
