The Finance Department is responsible for the overall financial management of the District of Summerland. Finance works with the other departments to develop budgets, and also handles the District's accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, property taxes, utilities charges, home owner grants, etc.

Grant-In-Aid Application The District reviews grant in aid applications as part of its annual budget process. Applications are due by October 31st of each year. Approved applicants will receive their grant in aid support once the annual budget has been adopted by Council, normally in March of the following year. Please note that all applicants will be required to attend a Committee of the Whole meeting as part of the application process.
