Effective 12 noon, Thursday, September 9, 2026, due to the decreased fire hazard rating in our region, the District of Summerland is rescinding the current campfire ban.
Please note: The OPEN BURNING BAN of agricultural wood waste remains in place.
The Summerland Fire Department thanks residents for their cooperation during the temporary ban.
