Smooth roads ahead! The District of Summerland’s 2026 Major Paving Projects are making great progress as we continue investing in safer, more reliable infrastructure for our community.
Construction began in early July, and crews have already completed paving work on several key roadways, including:
Harris Road, between Newton Rd and Hespeler Rd
Prairie Valley Road, between Morrow Ave and Doherty Ave
Switchback Road
The project remains on schedule and within budget.
These important upgrades help improve road quality, enhance safety, and support a more connected Summerland for residents, businesses, and visitors.
