As part of the Prairie Valley Road seal coat project, sand has been added to the road surface while the emulsified asphalt cures. This sand will remain on the road for the next few days (as shown in the photo) and will be swept up as early as this weekend.

Work was completed yesterday between Cartwright Avenue and Haddrell Avenue. Today, crews continue work on the western portion between Haddrell Avenue and Morrow Avenue.

Please slow down in the construction zone and drive with caution.
