Residents and visitors are advised that Giant’s Head Mountain Park Road will be temporarily closed for the Annual Giant’s Head Freeride longboarding event taking place from June 4 to June 8, 2026.

The temporary road closure will be in effect as follows:

• Location: Giant’s Head Mountain Park Road
• Closure Start: 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 4, 2026
• Closure End: 5:00 p.m. Monday, June 8, 2026

The closure is required to support event operations and ensure the safety of participants, volunteers, and spectators during the longboarding event.

Residents and visitors are encouraged to avoid the area during the closure period and plan accordingly. The District appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation while this event takes place safely.
