On Friday, May 1, 2026, from approximately 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, properties on Victoria Road South and located on the outage map below, will experience a temporary water service disruption due to water main upgrades by Okanagan Civil Constructors.
Due to the complex nature of this upgrade, there is potential for this disconnection to be longer than expected. If this is the case the shutdown could extend further into the evening. Please prepare accordingly in case this extended shutdown is required.
After completion of this work, it may be necessary to run your cold water taps for a few minutes to clear and flush your line.
Below are some helpful hints to reduce the inconvenience:
- Ensure that you have plenty of potable water.
- To use your flush toilet during the outage, fill a bathtub with water prior to the outage and bucket water into the top tank of the toilet after each use.
