The District of Summerland’s Boil Water Notice has been rescinded for the majority of the community.
Due to continued testing, sanitation and flushing underway for the reservoir building and system that serves the Trout Creek area, The Boil Water Notice remains in effect for the Trout Creek area until further notice.
Residents in the Trout Creek area are advised to continue boiling tap water for at least one minute before drinking, preparing food, making ice, brushing teeth, or other activities involving consumption. The District will provide an update as soon as the Boil Water Notice for Trout Creek is lifted.
If your Boil Water Notice has been rescinded, please run your tap for a minimum of 15 minutes prior to consuming water.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
