We’re proud to announce that the District of Summerland has received the Canadian Award for Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) for the third consecutive year! This prestigious award recognizes excellence in financial reporting for our 2023 Annual Financial Report.
This achievement reflects our ongoing commitment to transparency, accountability, and clear communication with our community. The report was reviewed by an impartial Canadian Review Committee and met the program’s high standards—including a “spirit of full disclosure” that helps tell Summerland’s financial story in a meaningful way.
