Street Sweeping Clean-up starts on Monday, March 11
The District of Summerland will start spring road clean-up on Monday, March 11 on streets near the lake first and eventually working up to higher elevations. The bulk of the clean-up will start April 2 when additional street sweeping equipment will be available which will then accelerate the clean-up process.

It is estimated that it will take four additional weeks to complete the clean-up within the District’s 175 kilometres of roads. When there is heavy sand, it may take multiple passes and/or even coming back to finish on a separate day with the final sweep on your street. We ask for everyone’s patience on the road when equipment is working.
