If the homeowner grant is not claimed before the due date of July 4, 2022, these amounts will be considered as unpaid taxes and will be subject to a 10% penalty.
Property taxes can be paid online through your banking institution. Most banks have the District of Summerland set up under their “payee’s” list. Search first for “Summerland, BC – Property Taxes”. For the 11 digit account number enter 325 (jurisdiction number) then your eight-digit roll number (no spaces, no decimal). Please allow at least 2-3 days for the payment to be processed to avoid any late penalties after the July 4, 2022 due date.
