Notice of Upcoming Wildland Urban Interface Training Exercise

This weekend on April 23 and 24, the Summerland Fire Department will be participating in a wildland urban interface training exercise led by the City of Penticton Fire Department, with participation from BC Wildfire Service staff, industry experts and fire service personnel. The training will occur in the Lower Deer Ridge area on the East side of homes on Sunset Place, in the morning and afternoon. During this training, fire trucks, personnel, and the spraying of water will be active and visible.
