Due to milder temperatures this winter, the District of Summerland will be implementing road load restrictions to help reduce damage to roadways.
𝐄𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟐𝟕, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐚𝐭 𝟏𝟐:𝟎𝟎 𝐩𝐦, 70% load restrictions will apply to all roads within the boundaries of Summerland. These restrictions will remain in effect until further notice.
The District follows regulations and guidance established by the BC Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure regarding local road restrictions.
Residents and commercial vehicle operators are advised to plan accordingly and ensure compliance to help protect our local infrastructure.
