In collaboration with the provincial Ministry of Water, Land and Resource Stewardship, the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen and the Okanagan Nation Alliance, the District of Summerland installed a supplemental water line (pictured bottom right) to Trout Creek from the Emergency Wells located at the Summerland Rodeo Grounds.

This new infrastructure will provide emergency Environmental Flows for Trout Creek in the event of water scarcity.
