We’re happy to share another update on the Wharton Street Critical Infrastructure Project. The project is now 94% complete, and major milestones continue to be reached as we move toward the final stages.
𝐌𝐚𝐣𝐨𝐫 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐝
• All major paving is complete.
• Veteran’s Memorial Square work is complete, including the seating areas, misting equipment installation, planting areas, pavers, and the busking stage.
• The public washroom facility has been delivered and is ready for final site integration.
• Electrical works near the electrical sub-station are underway.
• Henry Avenue landscaping, surface works, and installation of catenary lighting around the new washroom facility.
Some landscaping and planting will be completed in the spring to ensure optimal growing conditions.
