Temporary road closures in the downtown area remain in effect as part of the Wharton Street Revitalization Project construction. These closures mean there are changes to vehicle access and parking along Wharton Street and Victoria Road North, as shown in the map.
𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧! Alternative parking is available nearby, and we’ve made adjustments to keep the area accessible:
• Pedestrian corridors for safe walking access
• Drop-off area along Victoria Road North to access services
• Temporary vehicle turnarounds on Victoria Road North
𝐀𝐥𝐥-𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 is available at:
• City Hall
• Summerland Secondary School
Look for the new signs around downtown to find these lots.
Additional short-term parking is available in other nearby locations.
