The District currently has openings on two committees: The Development Process Improvement Advisory Committee and the Community Climate Action Advisory Committee.
The Development Process Improvement Advisory Committee provides advice and assistance to Council and staff as the Development Services Department updates bylaws, processes, and procedures as they relate to planning, development, and construction in the community.
The Community Climate Action Advisory Committee provides advice to Council and staff with respect to achieving the District’s community-wide greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction targets and objectives related to Climate Action, as identified in the Official Community Plan.

www.summerland.ca/your-city-hall/committees (or at Municipal Hall) and must be submitted to corporateofficer@summerland.ca. Applications for the Development Process Improvement Advisory Committee must be submitted by March 21, 2022 and applications for the Community Climate Action Committee must be submitted by April 5, 2022.
