Outdoor Electrical Safety Rules:

• Never fly kites or model airplanes near power lines.
• Stay away from substations and electrical equipment.
• Stay away from downed power lines. Call for help.
• Water and Electricity do not mix! Never use electric appliances near water.

Indoor Electrical Safety Rules:

• Never overload outlets.
• Never put things in electrical outlets.
• Plastic outlet guards are a good idea.
• Check Wires, extension cords, and appliances regularly for signs of wear.
• Don't run electric cords under rugs or furniture.
