A big thank you goes out to all of the residents who arranged to have their Christmas trees picked up by the Summerland Fire Department this year. A total of $1,715.00 was donated by the citizens, with proceeds going to the Summerland Dry Grad Class of 2012. The trees were then chipped and recycled at the landfill. The Summerland Fire Department thanks everyone for their support!

BC Assessment Authority has sent out property tax assessments to our residents now. The District of Summerland does not assess your property but we use the information from BC Assessment Authority to determine our property tax rates to calculate and send out the tax bills in May.
