PROLONGED WATER OUTAGE FOR AREA ALONG SIMPSON ROAD, CANYON VIEW ROAD, MONRO AVENUE & VICTORIA ROAD

Due to the watermain break at the Victoria Road South and Simpson Road intersection, some areas will be without water until the watermain repairs are complete as highlighted on this map.

Repairs are expected to be completed sometime later this evening.  Reloading of the water system is currently scheduled to start early Saturday morning so water service should be restored before noon on Saturday.

Once the water service has been restored, a BOIL WATER NOTICE will be in effect.

Interior Health and the District of Summerland recommend that ALL USERS use water that has come to a rolling boil for one minute or use a safe alternative.  This includes food preparation, teeth brushing and any consumption of water.
